A recent article I read in the THE Journal referred to the age-old problem of technology vs. pedagogy. It emphasizes the fact that new teachers coming into the classroom are saavy about technology but that they have little knowledge of how to use this technology to enhance the subjects they are teaching. These new teachers need the guidance of technology leaders in the K-12 classrooms--teachers such as Vicki Davis, who uses Wikis in her classroom or Brent Coley's 5th grade podcasts.

A new book of short stories Growing Up as a Baby Boomer follows the main character Robert Greenway from his elementary days when he practically burned down Gatsby's house to his teenage years as a roller coaster operator to his early married years running a British pub and conducting pigeon races.
